one thing that makes me feel really great about people is the number of amazon reviews on humane mouse traps complaining that the traps are too cruel because they aren't properly ventilated and the trapped mouse gets uncomfortable unless you check the trap a few times a day.

you have a pest in your home eating your food and pooping all over your things and possibly giving your children diseases and you're worried that when you catch it it might have to suffer some discomfort while it waits for you to drive for a mile to release it into the forest. that's amazing. humans are awesome.
