curses, foiled again

tonight was good, and then bad, and then good.

i had a good time and got moderately drunk and that was good.
i was going to ask the person i like to get coffee with me and my plan was to walk him out to his car so i could ask in private but right before he was going to leave some other girl came up and was hitting on him pretty hard so i didn't get to talk to him and that was bad.
when my friend saw my expression she said she was ready to leave and we went to waffle house together and talked about our boy problems and made plans for saturday and that was good.

i feel so thwarted.
