ghost meringue

i went to the halloween party on friday and it was pretty fun. the best part was the punch, which i think i was told had juice and vodka and white wine (!). i ate a meringue that had two chocolate syrup dot eyes so it looked like a ghost. that was the first time i've ever eaten a meringue and i didn't like it much. it sort of tasted like a marshmallow but with the texture of...styrofoam, maybe? i don't know.

i wore a red dress and tights that were like fishnets but shaped like spiderwebs. they were very cute, and everyone said they liked them, but they were almost painful to wear because they were simultaneously too long and too small. they fit fine around my lower leg area but turned my thighs into sausages. but my dress was long enough that it didn't show, so it was okay.
i wear tights a lot because i wear dresses a lot, and the spiderweb tights made me want to buy more interesting tights that actually fit. most of mine are black though i also own a gray pair and a mint green pair. i wish i owned more tights with prints or patterns on them.

i didn't go to the picnic thing because i was busy being asleep. tomorrow though i am going to lunch with the person i like. he always lets me pick the restaurants we go to, which i find a bit stressful because i feel like i'm always suggesting the same places and maybe he finds it boring. or maybe he doesn't care. i guess if he found it boring, he could just ask someone else out to lunch.
