new

i went shopping with A today. i'm glad i did because today i found out sephora is discontinuing the cc cream i use, which is so so sad because it was relative inexpensive and lasted forever and provides good coverage without looking cakey and it comes in the perfect color for my skin, which is kinda rare. luckily they were on sale because of being discontinued, so i bought two tubes. to be honest, they should last me until i've finished my undergrad degree.

i also bought a bright purple lip gloss. i normally don't like lip gloss because it's too shiny and not colorful enough for me. plus it's usually goopy and sticky and it tastes weird. but the one i got is more like a liquid lipstick. the brand is nyx and i think the color is berry strudel. also i got a pink eyeliner because it was also on clearance at sephora, but i don't like it much. it's not glittery and the brush is way too small. but i tried it under a gold glittery eyeliner and it looks a bit better. i think it was like $3 so i'm not too mad. i also got a lipstick from ulta, but it turned out to be the same color as one i already own, so i'm going to take it back thursday probably. it was $8 which is enough for me to buy more nyx gloss. i'm going to get two more, in napoleon and toasted marshmallow. i'm really excited.

thursday i might see the person i like. i'm excited about that too. way too excited, actually. i'm legitimately concerned that i might just throw up all over them. i have never vomited out of fear before though so at least i'm trying new things. also, if i throw up all over them, and then we end up married or something someday, it will make a really great story.
