glitter

something cool about the person i'm currently interested in is that they habitually dress very oddly. i mentioned that they wore a sort of skeleton suit the other day. the top and pants were both black with a green skeleton on them. i was told that the skeleton part glows in the dark, but i didn't get to see that. their hair was blonde and black and varying pastel shades of pink and purple. i'm not sure how to describe their lipstick except that they used two colors, neon pink and a more magenta color. (so far, the only flaw i have noticed in them is that they always wear matte lipstick, which i have never seen look good on a person in real life. take your instagram selfies and then go wash that stuff off! you look like you inhabit a universe where nobody ever bothered to invent lip balm!) they also had what i assumed were sort of random stripes painted on their cheeks, but when i got closer i thought they might have been faded roman numerals. anyway, i definitely thought they were beautiful.

i myself sometimes dress unusually, but mostly it's limited to wearing too many colors that are too bright. also i have a different definition of "flattering" than most people. thinking about the person i'm interested in makes me want to be more experimental though.
there was the oddly-colored purple lipstick, of course. a few years ago i briefly owned and then misplaced an orange lip balm with an unusual amount of pigment. i want to either try to find that or buy another one that's an actual lipstick. i could probably even pull off yellow if i wanted. i want some of those little jewel sticker things that people wear on their faces. i want a bunch of butterfly clips to wear in my hair all at once. i want loose glitter to put on my whole body. i've always wished i could do things like this but mostly i try to tone it down at least a little because i know my tastes sometimes tend toward the tacky and obnoxious. but...honestly, who cares.
