compatible

my date yesterday (tuesday) went well. like, really well. we went out to eat first and we just sat talking for 4 hours and after that we went to the mall to see a movie and while we waited we looked around a bookstore. after the movie she had to go home because she had work early the next day, but we were both really sad about it so we're going out again on friday. and we talked all day today too. it just feels like we'll never run out of things to say to each other. and it's nice because we have all the same values but only share some interests, so we can talk about the things we have in common and teach each other about the things we don't. i think it's cool.

so here is an interesting thing: i met her on okcupid, and in my area, she is the person who has the second highest match percentage with me. the first highest match is the person i went on a date with last week and i was friends with them before either of us had joined the site. i feel like someday i'll be in a commercial talking about how their match system really works or something. it's sort of neat! but also it's kind of obvious that i wouldn't get along with someone who thought no only sometimes means no, or was racist, or something. still.
